DAWLISH TOWN LADIES It is with regret and after much debate that the club has decided to withdraw the Ladies team from the Devon Ladies League Premier Divsion. The main factor was the lack of players, this is due to mainly to the Manager last season leaving the club and enticing away players from the squad.
The club have worked hard behind the secenes to try to keep the team alive but it has finally proved impossible. The club would like to thank all the past players and members of Management team over the years who had worked hard to get the team into the Premier League where last season the team finished runners up. Special thanks goes out to Sarah Webster who has worked hard in the last 12 months for the team and the club.
The club will look at the situation at for the start of next season to see if there is enough interest to play a Ladies team once again at Sandy Lane.
